Blue Lagoon and Akamas from Paphos: Bus and Boat, Jeep or Latchi Boat?
Updated October 8, 2026 · 4 min read
Akamas and the Blue Lagoon are sold as one excursion, but the transport changes the day. From Paphos, the simplest choice is the Blue Lagoon, Akamas and Baths of Aphrodite day trip: eight hours from €38.95, with a coach across the peninsula and a boat section for swimming and snorkelling.
Which format suits you?
Bus and boat suits most first-time visitors. The road section covers the distance from Paphos; the boat provides the part people actually picture. It is a long organised day, but you do not need to navigate or park.
Jeep and coast is better when the landscape matters as much as the swim. A 4x4 reaches rougher viewpoints and feels more active, but it is bumpier and the day is less about relaxing on deck.
Boat from Latchi gives you more boat time and less sightseeing. It works best if you are already near Polis or Latchi; from Paphos you must still solve the journey north.
The honest choice
Choose bus and boat for a balanced first visit, jeep for an off-road day, and Latchi for a boat-first outing. A Blue Lagoon stop never guarantees empty water or wildlife.
