Sunset and Evening Cruises from Paphos: Show, Dinner or a Quiet Sail?
Updated October 8, 2026 · 4 min read
From Paphos, evening boat trips come in two very different formats: a two-hour sunset cruise with a swim stop and an open bar, and four-hour evening cruises with buffet, music and fireworks. The second kind costs roughly double. The difference lies less in the boat than in what you want from the evening.
The quiet sunset cruise
The sunset cruise with turtle watching and unlimited drinks costs €36 per person and lasts 2 hours. According to the operator’s description, the boat visits the Vera K shipwreck, goes in search of turtles and makes a 20-minute swim stop; the open bar serves beer, wine and soft drinks. Searching for turtles is not a promise, as they are wild animals. Departure point and time are on the booking page. Sunset time depends on the season, so compare the departure time with sunset on your travel day before booking.
Dinner and show
Two evening cruises last 4 hours each: the Ocean Vision night cruise at €79 with buffet, open bar, live music, dancing and fireworks, and the Wave Dancer cruise with fireworks, buffet and show at €68. Here the programme is the point. If you would rather sit quietly on the water, you pay for music and dancing you do not want.
The honest recommendation
For most people the two-hour cruise from €36 fits best: swim stop, sunset and an open bar without a programme running late into the night. If you want more swimming time, the swim cruise with turtle watching and Aperol has a 30-minute swim stop at Atlantis Beach. Choose dinner and show only if they are the purpose of the evening. Unlimited drinks are no reason to drink if you plan to swim afterwards.
